DTS® Forced Steering System for New KRONE GX Models
KRONE is utilizing the DTS® forced steering system from MOBIL ELEKTRONIK for the new generation of its GX universal transport wagon 🌾🚛
Recent reports in the trade publications profi and top agrar highlight the technical updates to the new models of the KRONE GX universal transport trailer, with a particular focus on our contactless electronic forced steering system, DTS® (DynamicTrailerSteering).
Based on our proven EHLA® solution, DTS® stands out thanks to its user-friendly and pioneering technology:
- No mechanical connection between the towing vehicle and the trailer is required to detect the articulation angle
- No K50 or other forced steering components are required on the towing vehicle
- Articulation angle determined via vehicle driving dynamics using an IMU module and two speed sensors with integrated travel direction detection
- Use of the proven DTS® algorithm developed by MOBIL ELEKTRONIK
