ME MOBIL ELEKTRONIK was possibly the first company worldwide to take advantage of the newly emerging electrically operated proportional directional control valves in the 1970s to initially develop multi-axle steering systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
The initially simple systems equipped with analog control cards developed into powerful complete solutions with the advent of PLC technology in the 1980s.
